California Licensed Cost Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Cost Manager, the full-time Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor will manage client relationships and deliver comprehensive cost management services, including estimating, cost planning, and financial reporting, while working remotely in San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects
• Leading cost planning efforts and managing financial risks to ensure budget adherence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry
• RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
