Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel to join as the first full-time legal hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day legal operations including contract management and compliance
• Lead commercial contract reviews, negotiations, and approvals
• Partner with Sales and GTM teams to negotiate terms and develop playbooks

Required Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 5+ years of legal experience
• At least 3 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similar legal environment
• Subject matter knowledge in labor & employment, California data privacy laws, and commercial contracting
• Experience supporting fast-paced teams and building structure
• Ability to translate legal complexity into clear, actionable solutions
