Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel to provide legal support for reinsurance business and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and negotiate legal and transactional documents for prospective reinsurance transactions
• Provide legal support and advice on regulatory issues affecting the company's operations
• Research legal and regulatory issues and monitor new legislation impacting the reinsurance industry

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school
• California State Bar license in good standing
• 3-5 years of legal experience in reinsurance and/or financial transactions
• Strong drafting skills and solid business or transactional experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online legal research tools
