California Licensed CPA Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Accountant, seeking an experienced External Accountant (CPA) to support accurate financial reporting and US tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily General Ledger entries and maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Cashflow Statements
• Support multi-state sales tax compliance and coordinate federal and state tax reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Active CPA license from California or able to perform in California
• 5+ years in an independent Accounting role, preferably in e-commerce or retail
• Strong experience with e-commerce accounting and multi-state sales tax
• Proficiency in accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite
