Job Summary
To support credentialing processes, the full-time temporary California Licensed Credentialing Specialist will manage primary source verifications, evaluate applications, and assist in the development of credentialing documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Request and review primary source information and manage practitioner status inquiries
- Evaluate applications and supporting documents for completeness and compliance
- Assist in the facilitation of training for newly appointed physician leaders and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field AND minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical credentialing or a directly related field, or minimum four (4) years of relevant experience
- Minimum one (1) year of experience with databases and spreadsheets
- Provider Credentialing Specialist Certificate within 36 months of hire
