Job Summary
To support credentialing processes, the full-time temporary California Licensed Credentialing Specialist will manage primary source verifications, evaluate practitioner applications, and assist in the development of training materials while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Requests and reviews primary source information and evaluates applications for practitioner status
- Processes provider enrollment and maintains data integrity within credentialing databases
- Participates in audits and surveys of credentialing entities to ensure compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in clinical credentialing or related fields
- Minimum one year of experience with databases and spreadsheets
- Provider Credentialing Specialist Certificate within 36 months of hire
