Job Summary
To support credentialing processes, the full-time temporary California Licensed Credentialing Specialist will manage primary source verifications, evaluate applications, and facilitate training for newly appointed physician leaders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Requests and reviews primary source information and manages provider enrollment processes
- Evaluates applications and supporting documents, identifying gaps and recommending improvements to credentialing processes
- Maintains databases and ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations through audits and quality assurance activities
Required qualifications:
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in clinical credentialing or related fields
- Minimum one year of experience with databases and spreadsheets
- Provider Credentialing Specialist Certificate within 36 months of hire
