Job Summary

Providing crisis intervention and emotional support, the part-time California Licensed Crisis Counselor, bilingual in Spanish, will assist help-seekers via telephone and chat while maintaining quality assurance and efficiency in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Offers crisis counseling services through telephone and chat interactions
• Conducts risk assessments and manages crisis calls in collaboration with shift supervisors
• Maintains detailed call reports and participates in community outreach efforts

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience, with a preference for crisis intervention or suicide prevention experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to effectively use web-based platforms and electronic documentation systems
• Open availability to work within the program's operating hours, including weekends and holidays
