Job Summary

Providing vital crisis intervention and emotional support, the part-time California Licensed Crisis Counselor will offer services via chat and text, working remotely for 24 hours per week with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Offers crisis-counseling services through chat and text platforms
• Completes risk assessments, safety planning, and follow-ups with visitors
• Maintains accurate documentation of interactions in real time

Required qualifications

• Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience, with one year preferred in crisis intervention or suicide prevention
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to effectively use web-based platforms and documentation systems
• Open availability and flexibility to work within the program's operating hours
