Job Summary
Focusing on enhancing customer experience, the full-time salaried California Licensed Customer Quality Manager will manage proactive customer communications related to quality and food safety, streamline complaint handling procedures, and collaborate with internal teams to drive resolution and satisfaction in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support key customer accounts from a quality assurance perspective, including documentation fulfillment and complaints management
- Monitor and evaluate responses from facility QA teams, resolving urgent issues and partnering with Customer Service for process improvements
- Engage with commercial teams and customers' quality assurance counterparts to support Customer Experience initiatives through regular meetings and audits
Required qualifications
- B.S. in a Technical science degree (e.g., Food Science, Food Technology, Biology) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management within the food industry
- 3-5 years of supervisory and management experience
- Complete understanding of FSMA, FDA 21 CFR, and USDA FSIS Directive policies
- Knowledge of HACCP, HARPC, GMP, and sanitation programs
