California Licensed Data Engineer, seeking a Junior Data Engineer for a full-time remote contract position focused on modernizing data pipelines and optimizing metrics in the Health sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Overhaul Airflow pipelines and build Athena Operator support
- Optimize metric jobs using AI-driven analysis and investigate Spark usage
- Automate metrics extraction and generate a metrics catalog
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in complex environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Athena and managed Airflow
- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Pandas
- Familiarity with GitHub and Apache Spark
- Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus
