California Licensed Data Science Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time California Licensed Data Science Analyst will independently collaborate with stakeholders to develop advanced analytics and BI solutions that enhance strategic planning and performance measurement in the healthcare domain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated analytics and BI solutions to support decision-making and performance measurement
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and deliver insights
• Utilize advanced data manipulation and analytics skills to manage healthcare data sets and develop reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics, including familiarity with hospital systems and data visualization tools
• Advanced BI development skills using Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL, R, or Python for data preparation
• Strong understanding of data analytics platforms like Azure data lake and SQL Server
