Job Summary
To drive product strategy and decision-making across various applications, a California Licensed Data Scientist will work full-time, applying advanced quantitative analysis and data modeling to uncover insights that shape product development while advising cross-functional teams on measurement frameworks and product performance.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define success metrics and evaluate the impact of product changes through experimentation and A/B testing
- Analyze large data sets using SQL and Python to identify trends in user behavior and product engagement
- Design and execute end-to-end quantitative research projects, from hypothesis formulation to stakeholder communication
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python or R for data analysis
- Experience designing and interpreting experiments, including A/B testing
- Experience developing forecasting or predictive models
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
