Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Defense Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of civil defense matters, including general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and/or insurance defense
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Conduct depositions, legal research, and case evaluations
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
2-6 years of litigation or insurance defense experience preferred
