Job Summary
To support a nationally recognized toxic tort practice, the part-time California Licensed Deposition Attorney will attend and defend asbestos and silica depositions, prepare comprehensive deposition reports, and coordinate with case teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Attend and defend asbestos and silica depositions on behalf of firm clients
- Prepare clear, concise, and timely deposition summaries and reports
- Analyze testimony to identify key liability, causation, and damages issues
Required qualifications
- Active license to practice law in California or other specified jurisdictions
- Prior deposition experience required
- Experience in asbestos, silica, toxic tort, or complex civil litigation preferred
- Defense-side deposition experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
