Job Summary
Managing mid- to late-stage projects, the hybrid California Licensed Development Engineering Manager will oversee cross-functional teams, provide guidance on constructability and design impacts, and enhance process efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Development Engineering and Estimating team while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Guide discussions on constructability and cost/benefit assessments related to site conditions and design layout
- Support the development of tools and automation processes for design and costing in conjunction with the Optimization team
Required qualifications
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering
- 5-10+ years of relevant experience in utility-scale solar projects
- Experience managing teams of engineers and designers
- Knowledge of geotechnical and hydro engineering impacts on projects
- Ability to optimize project designs to reduce costs effectively
