California Licensed DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to enhance the security of Geographic Information Systems applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement security controls and secure AWS architectures for GIS applications
• Maintain security measures and DevSecOps frameworks throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with teams to perform code reviews and identify security vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of IT security experience, with at least 3 years in DevSecOps or Security Engineering roles
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and security best practices
• Strong understanding of GIS applications and their security requirements
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and knowledge of container technologies
