California Licensed Diabetes Nurse Educator
Job Summary
To support patients in managing diabetes and prediabetes, the fully remote California Licensed Diabetes Nurse Educator with CDCES certification will teach clients how to monitor blood sugar, administer insulin, adjust diets, and adopt lifestyle changes.
Key responsibilities
- Educate patients on diabetes management techniques, including blood sugar monitoring and insulin administration
- Guide clients in making dietary adjustments and lifestyle changes to prevent complications
- Provide ongoing support and resources to help patients achieve their health goals
Required qualifications
- Current California RN license
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification
- Completion of NCLEX exam
- Experience in diabetes education and patient management
- Strong understanding of diabetes care protocols and guidelines
