Job Summary
Leading the corporate government accounting function, the full-time salaried California Licensed Director of Government Accounting will manage a team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and serve as the primary liaison with government auditors in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Government Accounting team, overseeing close processes and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and U.S. GAAP across all government programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and auditors, managing audit response efforts and advising executive leadership on regulatory matters
Required Qualifications:
- 15 years of total experience, with a minimum of 10 years in government accounting
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience leading accounting teams
- Active CPA required
- Deep expertise in Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and U.S. GAAP
- U.S. Citizenship required
