Job Summary
Seeking a compassionate and strategic leader, the full-time California Licensed Disability Director will oversee Disability & Absence programs, drive performance, and enhance client experience while managing high-performing teams and fostering strong client partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitates implementation and continuous improvement of disability and absence management programs
- Represents the claim operation to assigned national clients and provides proactive leadership for a culture of continuous improvement
- Manages, hires, trains, and develops qualified individuals while ensuring operations meet corporate guidelines and client needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in managing integrated disability and absence management programs
- Leadership experience in a disability/absence insurance carrier claim operation or third-party administrator claim operation
- Demonstrated ability to establish critical relationships at all organizational levels and with external partners
- HR or Disability certifications preferred, such as Certified Disability Manager or Certified Case Manager
