Job Summary

A company is looking for a Disability Benefit Specialist to evaluate eligibility for benefits and manage disability claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of Short Term/Long Term Disability claims
  • Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather necessary information for claims management
  • Ensure accurate application of contractual provisions and case management resources for benefit determinations


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in STD/LTD claims adjudication
  • Experience in TPA or self-administration services is desired
  • Knowledge of ERISA regulations and Social Security procedures
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and web-based systems
