California Licensed Disputes Paralegal

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time California Licensed Disputes Paralegal will manage the intake and triage of disputes, draft initial responses, and maintain case tracking systems while working remotely from designated hubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Seattle.

Key responsibilities

• Own intake end-to-end by logging, categorizing, and routing new matters to the appropriate attorney
• Triage and manage various claim types, making defensible first-line calls under time pressure
• Draft and send initial responses to users, ensuring appropriate tone for sensitive situations

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 7+ years of legal support or paralegal experience in litigation or disputes
• In-house litigation or legal project management experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency
• Prior experience with demand letter intake and structured legal correspondence workflows
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a large volume of matters simultaneously
