Job Summary
To support the Court Services Department, the full-time California Licensed Docketing Manager will manage calendar entries, provide e-filing support, and ensure procedural accuracy while working remotely or from any West Coast office during the hours of 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific Time.
Key responsibilities
- Verify the calculation of procedural deadlines and oversee the entry of litigation deadlines in the U.S. calendaring system
- Act as a resource for attorneys and case teams regarding court calendaring, civil procedures, and judges' rules
- Conduct legal research on court rules and assist with process improvements in calendaring and docketing procedures
Required qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in litigation calendaring and court procedures
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong knowledge of California civil court procedures and rules
- Experience with e-filing requirements and various e-filing platforms
- Proficiency with Aderant-Compulaw, CourtAlert, or a compatible database
