Job Summary
Detail-oriented and collaborative, the part-time California Licensed Documentation Specialist will review clinical documentation, coordinate referrals, and ensure accurate service setup while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance before service delivery
- Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
- Coordinate with referral sources and internal teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation for timely care
Required qualifications
- One (1) year of relatable work experience required
- High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, such as Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, or customer service preferred but not required
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
