Job Summary

Joining a collaborative Radiation Oncology team, the full-time California Licensed Dosimetrist III will design and optimize high-quality radiation treatment plans while working in a hybrid environment and contributing to patient-centered care initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and optimize image-based radiation treatment plans in accordance with physician prescriptions and departmental protocols
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists to develop complex treatment plans and support quality initiatives
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in clinical practice and ensure compliance with evidence-based standards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a physics-related field or equivalent education/experience
• CMD-Certified Medical Dosimetrist upon hire
• Minimum of 5 years of dosimetry experience in a progressive radiation oncology department
• Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles, treatment planning systems, and quality assurance processes
• Mathematical skills including algebra and trigonometry, with the ability to visualize three-dimensional concepts
