California Licensed EAP Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed EAP Counselor to provide telephonic counseling for behavioral health and employee assistance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and triage for behavioral health needs
• Provide short-term problem resolution and referrals to appropriate resources
• Facilitate responses to high-risk situations through consultation with licensed staff or leadership

Required Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline
• Active, unrestricted clinical license in California (LP, LPCC, LMFT, LCSW)
• 2+ years of post-Masters experience in counseling, psychology, social work, or related fields
• Familiarity with EAP services, including intake processes and crisis intervention protocols
• Designated quiet workspace and access to secure high-speed internet
