California Licensed EHS Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs and policies
• Collaborate with various departments to identify and mitigate EHS risks and drive continuous improvement
• Conduct hands-on work, program management, training, and incident response

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's in a relevant field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in biotechnology, medical device, or manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience with EHS program development and implementation required
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local EHS regulations highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS audits
