California Licensed Electrical Design Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing electrical distribution offering, the full-time California Licensed Electrical Design Engineer will independently design, review, and sign off on electrical deliverables for utility-scale solar projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Independently review electrical drawings and develop BOM packages for utility-scale solar EBOS projects
- Lead design reviews and sign off on deliverables using internal quality processes
- Size and select MV cable, harnesses, and collection system components with minimal oversight
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of electrical design experience, specifically in utility-scale solar
- Working knowledge of BOS components and relevant NEC articles (690, 691)
- Experience developing accurate BOMs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with new internal tools
