Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Center Electrical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to establish power infrastructure requirements for data centers
• Create designs from concept to construction documents, including equipment specifications and power systems
• Prepare documentation such as Statements of Work and total cost of ownership analyses

Required Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering with a PE License (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of professional experience in data center design or construction
• Extensive knowledge of electrical power paths, including high, medium, and low voltage systems
• Familiarity with building codes and laws, including NEC, NFPA, and OSHA
• Proficiency in software packages for design and analysis of electrical power systems, such as ETAP or PSCAD
• Understanding of mechanical systems for data center environments and control & automation systems
