Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Electrical Engineer, the full-time position focuses on leading substation and power system projects for utility, renewable, and industrial clients, with responsibilities including technical leadership, project delivery, and client engagement, while offering opportunities for mentorship and growth within a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design and oversee power system studies for medium- and high-voltage substations (15 kV-230 kV)
- Manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, and ensure technical quality of deliverables
- Act as a key technical contact for clients, participating in project definition and supporting business development efforts
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical power engineering experience, focusing on utility or industrial substations
- Demonstrated expertise in substation design and protection & control for MV/HV systems
- Active PE license in California strongly preferred
- BS in Electrical Engineering with a power emphasis preferred
- Proven ability to lead projects independently and coordinate across disciplines
