Job Summary
To support the administration of employee benefits within the CCSB Covered California Small Business exchange, the full-time California Licensed Eligibility Specialist will process enrollments, terminations, and changes while resolving member inquiries, with flexible work arrangements available.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and administer eligibility and billing for CCSB accounts, processing enrollment transactions in accordance with established guidelines
- Provide support to the CCSB Small Business call center team, ensuring efficient customer service operations
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of Accounting/Business experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare eligibility and billing procedures, including HIPAA and COBRA regulations
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with proprietary healthcare systems
- Experience in customer service, with the ability to resolve client issues effectively
- Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written, is a plus
