Job Summary
To support the customer service department, the full-time remote Employee Benefits Support Team Technician will assist with employee benefit plans by communicating with clients, processing applications, and maintaining database systems.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and employees to answer questions and address complaints regarding employee benefit plans
- Process applications and other paperwork, ensuring accuracy and following up on missing information
- Maintain and update database systems while acting as a liaison between clients and vendors
Required qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in clerical work and/or customer service
- Experience in the nonprofit sector or in administrative assistance and/or insurance is preferred
- Ability to obtain or currently possess a valid California Life/Health and Life Only license
- Must be located in California
