California Licensed Employment Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employment Attorney with international experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on pre-litigation matters including demand letters, wage/hour issues, and performance management
• Collaborate with business partners, HR/ER, and outside counsel across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM
• Emphasize compliance with California employment law in all legal matters

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Significant experience in employment law, particularly California law
• Experience working with international legal matters is preferred
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with some in-office presence preferred
