Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employment Attorney to provide legal guidance and support related to employment law and HR practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and HR on employment law matters and risk management
  • Oversee workplace investigations and manage pre-litigation matters in collaboration with external counsel
  • Draft and update policies and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with legal standards
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, preferably California
  • 10+ years of employment law experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience advising HR teams and business leaders on complex employment issues
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws, particularly California regulations
