Job Summary
To support a growing legal practice, the full-time California Licensed Employment Attorney will engage in settlement discussions, manage case prosecution from inception to trial, and participate in mediations, all in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prosecute cases through written and oral discovery, managing court deadlines
- Draft motions and engage in settlement discussions while communicating with clients and defense counsel
- Actively participate in jury trials and arbitration hearings, conducting fact investigations and legal research
Required qualifications
- 3-8 years of plaintiff's-side employment litigation experience
- Proficient legal research and writing skills
- Experience taking/defending depositions and handling discovery independently
- Trial experience is highly preferred
- Interest in employment law, including FEHA and wrongful termination cases
