Job Summary
To support healthcare clients, the full-time California Licensed Employment Attorney will provide legal counsel on employment law issues, collaborate with HR and management on complex matters, and manage employment-related disputes and litigation in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour laws
- Collaborate with HR and management to address complex employment issues and support company initiatives
- Manage and resolve employment-related disputes, including conducting investigations and representing the company in litigation or administrative proceedings
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar
- Five to ten years of experience in labor and employment law
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, traditional labor law, and litigation processes
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
