California Licensed Employment Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on employment law issues and workplace matters
• Assist in pre-litigation and litigation efforts, including managing outside counsel
• Draft and edit employment-related documents and participate in training related to employment law

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school; admitted/licensed to practice law
• 3-5+ years of experience with litigation, including at least two years in employment law
• Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with a preference for California laws
• Prior in-house experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies preferred
• Experience managing legal projects and relationships with external counsel
