California Licensed Employment Counsel
Job Summary
Supporting an in-house legal team remotely, the Temporary California Licensed Employment Counsel will provide employment law advice, handle EEOC charges, and conduct workplace investigations while working approximately 20-25 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day employment law advice and counseling to HR and business stakeholders
- Handle EEOC charges, administrative claims, and employment-related agency matters
- Conduct and advise on workplace investigations and support employment litigation matters
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active California bar license in good standing
- Significant experience practicing California employment law
- 5+ years of experience providing employment counseling to HR and business teams
- Proven experience handling EEOC charges and administrative agency responses
