California Licensed Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time California Licensed Engineering Manager will oversee Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Engineers, driving enterprise engagements and ensuring delivery excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive regional performance targets, including billable utilization and team growth, while ensuring customer success
• Lead high-stakes enterprise engagements, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver transformational programs
• Establish best practices for project oversight, risk management, and quality standards within the engineering practice

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of people leadership experience in managing technical delivery teams or professional services organizations
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a technical solutions architect or data/AI engineer
• Proven success in leading large-scale data platform migrations and AI/ML programs across various industries
• Strong executive presence with experience in stakeholder management at the C-suite level
• Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, MLflow, Delta Lake, or similar technologies in the data and AI ecosystem
