Job Summary

California Licensed Environmental Specialist, seeking a remote contract position to provide technical review and oversight of wetlands protection programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical review, quality control, and oversight of consultant work products related to wetlands and waterway jurisdictional delineation
• Coordinate with consultants, internal teams, and regulatory agencies to develop permitting strategies and ensure compliance
• Support project tracking, data management, and administrative tasks related to environmental compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 3 years of water quality compliance experience
• 3 years of regulatory permitting and negotiation experience in California
• 2 years of wetland delineation experience, including completion of a 40-hour Wetland Delineation course
• 2 years of experience with GIS tools, such as ArcGIS and Google Earth
