Job Summary

Coordinating the closing of assigned files, the part-time California Licensed Escrow Officer will manage the preparation of closing documents, ensure compliance with state requirements, and maintain communication with clients and team members, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of closing documents in accordance with state requirements and client instructions
• Review title commitments and confirm closing details with all parties involved
• Monitor workflows and provide management with updated status reports on ongoing tasks

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience as an Escrow Officer or Closing Coordinator
• Working knowledge of real estate titles and deed preparation
• Practical work experience within the mortgage loan department of a lending institution
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft software products
