Job Summary
Managing real estate transactions, the full-time California Licensed Escrow Officer will establish new escrow accounts, process documents for closings, and ensure compliance with company policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Completes real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements, preparing closing documents, and disbursing funds
- Acts as a neutral liaison between parties, resolving title defects and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
- Maintains escrow accounts by depositing funds, balancing transactions, and preparing final closing statements
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience, preferably as an escrow assistant
- Valid Licensing/Certification as required by applicable state
- Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the escrow/title industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
