Job Summary
Leading the repair and maintenance of advanced robotic systems, the full-time California Licensed Field Service Engineer will work second shift from 2 pm to 10 pm, focusing on troubleshooting complex electrical systems, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in repair processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead repair and maintenance of complex prototype electromechanical sub-assemblies and systems
- Troubleshoot electrical system failures and create repair documentation with minimal guidance
- Collaborate with design engineers to iterate on prototype designs and improve quality control
Required qualifications
- Experience with maintenance and repair workflows
- Proficiency in repair ticketing or issue management tools such as JIRA
- Hands-on experience building and debugging electro-mechanical test setups
- Familiarity with lab equipment including oscilloscopes and power supplies
- Experience with communication interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C
