Job Summary
To support a Fortune 500 client, the full-time California Licensed Field Service Technician will perform failure analysis on biomedical implant products, provide technical expertise, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct failure analysis and develop investigative protocols to identify root causes of biomedical implant product failures
- Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance to enhance quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Mentor less experienced personnel and assist in solving complex problems within the Product Analysis Laboratory
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required; Electrical or Biomedical Engineering preferred
- Preferred engineering work experience related to biomedical devices
- Knowledge of global regulations for medical device reporting and medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and investigations in a busy department
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
