Job Summary

Organized and innovative, the full-time Fiscal & Policy Analyst will develop, monitor, and control the County budget while collaborating with department leaders and senior executives, primarily working onsite in Santa Barbara with potential for a hybrid remote schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the County budget in collaboration with department leaders
• Conduct complex research and analysis to inform decision-making regarding County operations and resource allocation
• Monitor fiscal resources and ensure compliance with funding priorities and organizational development goals

Required qualifications

• California Licensed Fiscal Analyst certification
• Experience in budget development and fiscal management
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on policy analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and department leaders
• Relevant degree in finance, public administration, or a related field
