Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP & Managing Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, negotiate, and close secured real estate finance transactions for various commercial real estate asset types
• Oversee closing managers, outside counsel, and third-party originators while mitigating transactional risks
• Implement technology-based efficiency solutions and provide legal counsel to the internal investment team

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• 8+ years of experience negotiating and closing complex commercial real estate loans, preferably lender-side work
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs
