Job Summary

A company is looking for a Genetic Counselor II, responsible for providing pediatric clinical genetic counseling services remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and medical genetic counseling to patients and their families
• Collaborate with Geneticists and specialty providers to deliver effective genetic counseling services
• Conduct crisis intervention regarding genetic conditions and implications for patients and families

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an ABGC-accredited genetic counseling training program
• Genetic Counselor License issued by the State of California
• Board Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Genetic Counselor
• Preferred experience in pediatric genetics and knowledge of clinical interpretation of genetic tests
