Job Summary
Supporting busy Maternal Fetal Medicine practices in Northern California, the full-time California Licensed Genetic Counselor will provide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services, engage in results reporting, and participate in educational initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services for diverse patient populations
- Support results reporting programs by delivering genetic results to patients using innovative approaches
- Engage in professional growth opportunities, including writing abstracts, physician education, and research initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
- American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC
- California Genetic Counselor license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Preferred: 1 year or more experience in prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling post-Master's degree
