Job Summary
To support a growing clinical genomics team, the full-time California Licensed Genomics Counselor will review clinical guidelines, contribute to genetic testing reports, and respond to provider inquiries while working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone.
Key responsibilities
- Review clinical guidelines and contribute to writing genetic testing reports for hereditary conditions
- Respond to provider clinical inquiries regarding results and variant interpretation
- Collaborate with development and QA teams on compliance and training activities
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in genetic counseling or human genetics
- Valid Genetic Counselor License or Temporary Genetic Counselor License issued by the State of California
- 2+ years of experience as a genetic counselor in a clinical setting
- Based in the Pacific Time Zone
- Open to contract position
