California Licensed GIS Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the contract GIS Solution Architect will design and lead end-to-end GIS solution architectures, implement Esri-based solutions, and drive enterprise GIS integrations, all while working remotely in California.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement GIS solution architectures aligned with business objectives
- Architect and deploy Esri-based solutions, including ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
- Provide technical leadership for solution design and ensure compliance with security and performance standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and Esri application suite
- Expertise in GIS architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise integration
- Experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms and high availability solutions
- Esri certifications preferred; experience in Utilities, Telecom, or Government GIS projects is a plus
